COLUMBUS — The first Ohio AgrAbility Peer to Peer Regional Conference will be held April 5 and 6, AgrAbility Educational Program Coordinator Andy Bauer has announced.
The Ohio Peer to Peer program matches farmers with disabilities who have been aided by the AgrAbility program with farmers who now need assistance or have been just recently disabled and need support.
“We are inviting all of our clients to meet and talk about the Peer to Peer program,” said Bauer. “We are looking at ways to enhance it and make it better. We will also have vendors there who will discuss products they have to offer.” There will also be a session on fire safety.
The two meetings are also open to those who feel they would like more information and may need assistance in the future.
The April 5 meeting will be held at the Der Duchman, 445 S. Jefferson Ave., Plain City, with registration at 9 a.m. and conference running 9:30 a.m. until noon.
The April 6 meeting will be at Der Dutchman, 4967 Walnut St., Walnut Creek, Holmes County. Registration is 9 a.m. and the conference runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
