Gardening seminar planned for Huron County

“Simplifying Your Garden Without Diminishing Your Joy” and “Edible Ornaments” are the topics of a seminar scheduled for March 17, 9 a.m. to noon at the First Presbyterian Church, 21 Firelands Blvd., Norwalk.

Debra Knapke, “The Garden Space” will be the speaker.

“Simplifying Your Garden Without Diminishing Your Joy” — Finding the joy in your garden and to know what you want from it but not going crazy trying to achieve it.

“Edible Ornaments” — The marriage between use and beauty. A landscape that fulfills multiple functions.

Knapke is a garden designer, lecturer, teacher, advisor and author. She is located in central Ohio and shares her work throughout the midwest. She has written five books relating to gardening in Ohio and the midwest.
