What percentage of crops in U.S. are GMO?

GMOs are now present in 75 to 80 percent of conventional processed food in the U.S., according to the Grocery Manufacturers Association.

What percentage of U.S. crops are GMO? According to the USDA:

• Corn: 90%

• Soybeans: 93%

• Cotton: 90%

• Canola: 90%

Small percentages for the following:

• Sugar Beets

• Squash

• Papaya

• Alfalfa
