The following are upcoming farming and agriculture events in Ohio:
March 5-11: Ohio 4-H Week. Ohio 4-H Conference in Columbus is on March 11. The 2017 Ohio 4-H Conference is designed to bring together 4-H volunteers and teens (age 13 and older) from across Ohio. The objective of this event is to learn together and from each other in order to improve our abilities to deliver the Ohio 4-H Program to its members. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and Session I starts at 9 a.m.
March 10-11: Ohio Small Farm Conference, Wilmington College.
March 13: Greene County Extension; Pesticide Recertification at the Greene County OSU Extension office, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; current pesticide license holders can obtain their fertilizer certification the same day by attending the fertilizer certification portion of the program. March 21: 4-H Round- Up; Highland County Fairgrounds, Wharton Building, 6 to 8 p.m.
March 25: Ohio Small Farm “Living Your Small Farm Dream” Conference and Trade Show at the R.G. Drage Center in Massillon.
April 1: Wilmington College Collegiate 4-H Showmanship Contest; Attend this event to improve showmanship skills.
