The following are upcoming farming and agriculture events in Ohio:
Jan. 26-28: Power Show Ohio; Ohio State Fairgrounds, admission and parking to Power Show Ohio, Ohio Expo Center 717 E. 17th Ave., will be the all inclusive rate of $10 per carload. Hours are 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. each of the three days.
Feb. 3-4: Ohio Farm Bureau Federation’s Young Agricultural Professionals Winter Leadership Experience, Hyatt Regency Hotel, Columbus. The event includes 20 workshops covering a wide range of food and farming topics. Register online at experienceyap.com or by contacting a county Farm Bureau office. County office information can be found at ofbf.org/counties. Registration cost for an individual with no hotel room is $100 or $150 with a hotel room. Two people sharing a room can get the discounted registration price of $225 for both registrations.

Feb. 18-25: National FFA Week, celebrated throughout the United States.

The 2017 Ohio 4-H Conference is designed to bring together 4-H volunteers and teens (age 13 and older) from across the State of Ohio. The objective of this event is to learn together and from each other in order to improve our abilities to deliver the Ohio 4-H Program to its members. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and Session I starts at 9 a.m.
